Where an app became a movement.
From a single breathwork app to a global training school, built on one method and one conviction: the breath can change everything.
How it began
PRANABEAT began in 2023 as a breathwork app, created to fuse the power of music with the rhythm of the breath. The vision was simple: to make breathwork more accessible, intuitive, and effective for people at home, wherever and whenever they needed it. Whether it was a quick reset for focus, a calming practice for anxiety, a boost of energy, or a deeper journey into the subconscious, the app offered sessions to match exactly what was needed in the moment.
As the PRANABEAT community grew, something powerful happened. The feedback from users was profound. People were experiencing real, lasting shifts in their emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing. This sparked a bigger question: how could this method reach more people, in more settings, through more facilitators?

The answer arrived in 2024, when Kate ran the first PRANABEAT Method Breathwork Facilitator Training. That inaugural program was a success, and five intakes of facilitators have now been trained and certified, with graduates practising across the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and beyond. The method equips participants with a deep understanding of Conscious Connected Breathing, Functional Breathing, Somatic Release, and Nervous System Regulation protocols for stress management and therapeutic application.
What began as a single offering has grown into a global program, with several Master Tutors now on the team and a community that has recently expanded into Australia and New Zealand.
To support trainees beyond the classroom, Kate also developed the PRANABEAT Training Assistant, a digital tool that gives facilitators-in-training immediate access to learning resources and safe practice protocols, whenever they need it.
Today, PRANABEAT continues to offer both digital tools and in-depth training programs that empower people to heal, grow, and share this work in grounded and meaningful ways.

“What began as a single app has grown into a method, and now a movement, teaching people not just to breathe differently, but to live differently.”
Kate brings an unusual pairing to this work: a clinical background in applied medical science and psychology, and more than a decade inside yoga, pranayama and somatic practice. It's why the PRANABEAT Method holds science and spirit together rather than choosing between them, and why safety sits at the centre of everything she teaches.
She has now trained facilitators across three continents, and still writes and curates every session on the PRANABEAT app herself.
A path built on healing
Originally from Australia, Kate is an Advanced Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Coach, Breathwork Facilitator, and Pranayama and Yoga Teacher with over 1,000 hours of training. After completing a Bachelor's in Applied Medical Sciences, she trained in diagnostic imaging and worked in healthcare across government facilities and private organisations in Australia and the United Kingdom. After nine years of practice, Kate experienced burnout, and found that returning to her yoga and meditation practices opened new possibilities for healing, refocusing, and resetting.

That journey of recovery led Kate to her first yoga teacher training in India, where mentors placed as much importance on philosophy and meditation as on movement. It sparked a lasting interest in the human psyche and the mind-body connection, an inspiration that continues to shape how she understands the relationship between the mind and the physical body.
So moved by this connection, Kate went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, formalising the psychological frameworks that underpin her work today. In 2024, she completed an intensive certification in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, alongside advanced training in Vagal Toning for Nervous System Reset, Somatic Release, and Neuro-Affective Touch.
In August 2023, Kate founded PRANABEAT, an online breathwork platform helping users discover the profound power of their breath through an extensive library of practices and specialised journaling prompts designed to uncover and release destructive patterns. Every session on the platform is written and curated by Kate herself.
Passionate about sharing her knowledge, Kate ran the first PRANABEAT Method Facilitator Training in 2024. The inaugural program was a success, and the training now runs with intakes throughout the year, welcoming students from around the world.

A sponsored Global Trainer in Breathwork and Meditation for Nike Training, Kate has taught mindfulness programs, breathwork workshops, and yoga classes for communities and organisations of every size, and has contributed her expertise to wellbeing platforms including Nilo.Health, Urban Sports Club, My Inner Health Club, and the Aura Sleep Mask.
As an educator, Kate empowers her clients and students to cultivate self-compassion and take charge of their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, work that ripples outward into relationships, creativity, resilience, and the capacity to access one's own potential.
